Moledo, in the municipality of Caminha, is the headquarters of the Union of Parishes of Moledo and Cristelo. It has 7.05 km² of the area and 1 322 inhabitants. Its density is 187.5 inhabitants / km².
Moledo is 20.4 km from Viana do Castelo, 97.4 km from Porto and is close to the Spanish border.
Moledo do Minho is a small village in northern Portugal, well known for its beach framed in a dream setting. The waters of this beach are rich in iodine, which is beneficial for some health problems related to the thyroid.
It is a very windy beach, so it is trendy in the summer months, either by Portuguese or foreigners, who come here to practice windsurf/kitesurf or simply relax.
Moledo Beach

Opposite Moledo Beach, on the small rocky island accessed by boat, the Forte da Ínsua stands out (although technically belonging to Cristelo is associated with Moledo), built in the 19th century.
